【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofadhesionofreinforcingcordsthatarebondedtorubbercompounds.Thistestmethodisapplicabletotextilecordstructuresfrombothnaturalandmanmadefibers,otherthansteel.Foradhesiontestingofsteeltirecords,refertoTestMethodD2229.1.2Thistestmethodisprimarilyusedtoevaluatetirecords,usingasuitabletirecordadhesiveandasuitablerubbercompound.Thistestmethodisalsousedtoevaluate(1)tirecordadhesives,and(2)theprocessofadhesivereactiononthecordusingoneconsistentformoftirecordandoneconsistentrubbercompound.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtoevaluatecordsinindustrialhoseandbeltingproductsandothercordreinforcedrubberproducts.1.3ThistestmethodiswritteninSIunits.Theinch-poundunitswhichareprovidedinthistestmethodarenotnecessarilyexactequivalentsoftheSIunits.Eithersystemmaybeusedinthistestmethod.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
