【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoversreasonablepracticesfordesigningandimplementingsensoryteststhatvalidateclaimspertainingonlytothesensoryorperceptualattributes,orboth,ofaproduct.ThisguidewasdevelopedforuseintheUnitedStatesandmustbeadaptedtothelawsandregulationsforadvertisementclaimsubstantiationforanyothercountry.Aclaimisastatementaboutaproductthathighlightsitsadvantages,sensoryorperceptualattributes,orproductchangesordifferencescomparedtootherproductsinordertoenhanceitsmarketability.Attribute,performance,andhedonicclaims,bothcomparativeandnon-comparative,arecovered.Thisguideincludesbroadprinciplescoveringselectingandrecruitingrepresentativeconsumersamples,selectingandpreparingproducts,constructingproductratingforms,testexecution,andstatisticalhandlingofdata.Theobjectiveofthisguideistodisseminategoodsensoryandconsumertestingpractices.Validationofclaimsshouldbemademoredefendableiftheessenceofthisguideisfollowed.
