【摘要】:Purgeableorganiccompounds,includingorganohalides,havebeenidentifiedascontaminantsinrawanddrinkingwater.Thesecontaminantsmaybeharmfultotheenvironmentandman.Dynamicheadspacesamplingisagenerallyapplicablemethodforconcentratingthesecomponentspriortogaschromatographicanalysis(1to5).5Thistestmethodcanbeusedtoquantitativelydeterminepurgeableorganiccompoundsinrawsourcewater,drinkingwater,andtreatedeffluentwater.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofmostpurgeableorganiccompoundsthatboilbelow200176;Candarelessthan2%solubleinwater.Itcoversthelow956;g/Ltolowmg/Lconcentrationrange(seeSection15andAppendixX1).1.2Thistestmethodwasdevelopedfortheanalysisofdrinkingwater.Itisalsoapplicabletomanyenvironmentalandwastewaterswhenvalidation,consistingofrecoveringknownconcentrationsofcompoundsofinterestaddedtorepresentativematrices,isincluded.1.3Volatileorganiccompoundsinwateratconcentrationsabove1000956;g/LmaybedeterminedbydirectaqueousinjectioninaccordancewithPracticeD2908.1.4Itistheuser''sresponsibilitytoassurethevalidityofthetestmethodforuntestedmatrices.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsaregivenin8.5.5.1.
