【摘要】:ThispartofBS7666specifiesthedatatobemaintainedinagazetteerofstreets,consistentwithPart0ofthisstandard.Thisenablesdifferentusersofstreetinformationtousethesamedatawithconsistencyofcontent,accuracy,currencyandformat.Differentwaysofreferencingastreetaredefinedsothatdatacanbeaccessedbystreetname,description,routenumber,uniquereferencenumberorexternalcrossreference.ThispartofBS7666alsospecifiesthemeansofrepresentingthegeometryofthestreetintermsofcoordinates.Threewaysareallowedforthiswithsuccessivelevelsofdetail:a)byidentifyingtheendpointsofastreet,andrepresentingthestreetasasinglelinesegment;b)bybreakingthestreetatitsintermediatejunctionstocreateasetofconstituentlinesegments,termedelementarystreetunits;c)bydescribingthecourseofeachelementarystreetunit.Eachoftheseoptionsisdefinedbyalevelofconformancetothestandard.ThispartofBS7666isintendedforusebythosecompilingstreetgazetteersforpurposesofhighwaysandstreetworksmanagement,propertyaddressingandnavigation.Itdoesnotprovideadatabasedesignoratransferformat.ThispartofBS7666alsospecifieshowadditionalinformationonPublicRightsofWaymayberecorded.ThisonlyappliestoEnglandandWales.
