This section and the basic standard (MIL-STD-2189) are to be considered as an integral single document. This standard provides procedures for preparing an electrical system load and power analysis for conventional-powered surface ships. However, this standard may be used as a basis for preparing a load and power analysis for a ship powered by other means.
