【摘要】:Theseguidelinesareintendedtoenablealaboratorymonitortoperformonsiteassessmentsoflaboratoryfacilities.AcceptedfacilitieswillthenparticipateinaninterlaboratorytestprotocoltoestablishprecisionandbiasforaparticularASTMstandard.Thisassessmentisintendedtodeterminethatalloftheparticipantshavethenecessaryequipment,anunderstandingofthetestmethod,andtheminimumlevelofskillnecessarytogatherdatawhicharetobeusedtoestablishprecisionandbiasfortheparticularstandard.Thisguideisnotintendedtobeusedasatooltoqualifyoraccreditlaboratoriestoperformanytests.RefertotheReferencedDocumentsforfurtherguidanceonaccreditationrequirements.1.1Thisguideprovidesageneraloutline,forusebyalaboratorymonitor,toassessthequalificationsofalaboratorywhichhasrequestedtoparticipateinaspecificASTMinterlaboratorytest.1.2Thepreliminaryassessmentisbasedonobservationsmadebeforeinitiationofanyinterlaboratorytests.1.3Thesubcommittee,whichappointsthelaboratorymonitor,specifiestheminimumrequirementswhichanorganizationshouldmeettoqualifyasaparticipantfortheinterlaboratorytest.Ifapretestistobeincluded,seedetailsinSection.1.4Thisfirestandardcannotbeusedtoprovidequantitativemeasures.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.

【摘要】:Theenergyinputrateandthermostatcalibrationtestsareusedtoconfirmthattherackovenisoperatingproperlypriortofurthertesting.Preheatenergyandtimecanbeusefultofoodserviceoperatorstomanageenergydemandsandtoknowhowquicklytherackovencanbereadyforoperation.Idleenergyrateandpilotenergyratecanbeusedbythefoodserviceoperatortoestimateenergyconsumptionduringnon-bakingperiods.Theovenrsquo;browningandbakinguniformitycanbeusedbyanoperatortoselectanoventhatbakesavarietyofproductsevenly.Steamperformancecanbeusefulforafoodserviceoperatorinterestedintheovenrsquo;abilitytoconsistentlycreatesteamduringabakingcycle.Bakingenergyefficiencyisapreciseindicatorofrackovenenergyperformanceundervariousloadingconditions.Thisinformationenablesthefoodserviceoperatortoconsiderenergyperformancewhenselectingarackoven.Productioncapacityisusedbyfoodserviceoperatorstochoosearackoventhatmatchestheirfoodoutputrequirements.1.1Thistestmethodevaluatestheenergyconsumptionandbakingperformanceofrackovens.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectarackovenandunderstanditsenergyperformance.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletothermostaticallycontrolled,gasandelectricrackovens.1.3Therackovencanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing(whereapplicable):1.3.1Energyinputrate(10.2),1.3.2Thermostatcalibration(10.3),1.3.3Preheatenergyandtime(10.4),1.3.4Idleenergyrate(10.5),1.3.5Pilotenergyrate,ifapplicable(10.6),1.3.6Whitesheetcakebrowning(10.7),and1.3.7Steamperformance(10.8),and1.3.8Bakingenergyefficiencyandproductioncapacity(10.9).1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.5Thistestmethodmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
