【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstherequirementsforwroughtlow-carbonironhavingacarboncontentof0.015%orlesswiththeremainderoftheanalysisbeingsubstantiallyiron.1.1.1Twoalloytypesarecovered:Type1isalow-phosphorousgradeandType2containsaphosphorousadditiontoimprovemachinability.1.2Thisspecificationalsocoversalloyssuppliedbyaproducerorconverterintheformandconditionsuitableforfabricationintopartswhichwillbesubsequentlyheattreatedtocreatethedesiredmagneticcharacteristics.Itcoversalloyssuppliedintheformofforgingbillets,hot-rolledproducts,andcold-finishedbar,wire,andstrip.1.3Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverironpowderscapableofbeingprocessedintomagneticcomponents.1.4Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverflat-rolled,low-carbonelectricalsteels.1.5Thevaluesstatedincustomary(cgs-emuandinch-pound)unitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitswhichareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.
